dinah -- depending on how you count it was either very late therswe or rather early fridon when I was as finished as I'm gonna be. . .
Yay! Karen! It will be great to meet you IRL. So. . . if I remember correctly, you'll be the "tall one" and I'll be the "one with the redhair" -- yes? Joining has its benefits. I've said this to Jane so I have qualms saying it here -- I liked the meetings better when they were more about art than about self-promotion and the business of being an artist, but I still find the meetings worthwhile.
How kind of Stella to continue to lend a helping paw! is yours a Janome 6500? that's the machine i got when i realized i had to learn how to machine quilt and my 50-year old Singer just wasn't the right machine for the job.
How cool that you and Karen LR will get to meet in person.
And the next photo in the series would be "can I help you out with that mouse? Or, "you know, four paws on the keyboard are faster than two"...! He's gorgeous!
Art is the dynamic edge between the conscious and the unconscious. It is [the] position of transcendental awareness. —Richard Pousette-Dart
Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose. —Helen Keller
Eccentricity has always abounded when and where strength of character has abounded; and the amount of eccentricity in a society has generally been proportional to the amount of genius, mental vigor, and moral courage which it contained. That so few now dare to be eccentric, marks the chief danger of the time. —John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. —Carl Jung

Stella? Entirely appropriate since she is clearly a star!
WV is therswe...sounds to me like "it will be ready therswe...or perhaps fridon."
Stella is a beauty! And such a help...
I'm coming to the meeting tonight, as a guest. I've been once before, still can't figure out if I should join.
Can't wait to see everyone's swaps!

HA! (I wonder what would happen if I let my Lab sleep on the table -- which I know he would LOVE to do!)
